So as I was watching Firefly I got a little too inspired not to dabble in the genre a little myself... So there will be a new story appearing in my gallery that is based loosely on Firefly. I've only come up with some of the characters, and half of the plot but, we're getting there.

So here's a little preview into what you're in for (note! All of these names are subject to change):

Crew:
Captain Stephen Ross: Captain of the "Circe" (A B-24 Gaia Transporter Passanger/Cargo class ship, serial code A6-492-39), former Captain in the army, wanted by government for desertion, has a wife back home who calls him Steve. "*insert name*, I'm the Captain, not you."

Lieutenant Gregory (Jesse (pronounced Jess-ee)) Pendragon: First mate, wanted as a "traitor" (merely fought on the losing side of a civil war), Captain Ross's god-son, is called Jesse after Jesse James for some reason. "Is that really a good idea?"

Katerina (Kate) Morozova- Weapons specialist and bosun's mate, disowned by her family for rejecting her arranged marriage, and if she returns to her home planet they will preform an honor killing. "Try that again, I dare you."

Kiran Dwyre- Crew member, excaped convict, no one really knows what he did to get in. Always trying to woo Kate, eventually marries her. "It wasn't me!"

Jacob (Jake) Kelly- Ship mechanic, successful theif and pick pocket, "I may be a pick-pocket, but I know engines." Wanted for a long list of heists. Close with Angel.

Angel Cooper- Ship's pilot, witnessed a horrific murder and now the murderer is after her to keep his name clear. Loved by everyone for her sweet nature. "The name Angel couldn't suit her better."

Orion Hernandez- Crew member, main character, young man looking for adventure only one on the crew not wanted dead by someone. "You don't look Hispanic." "I'm adopted."

Minerva (Minnie) Valkyrie- Crew Member, former assassin, wanted for 42 counts of murder, and 1 count of attempted murder. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you... unless someone pays me to."

Ichabod Fisher- ship's doctor, wanted for aiding and sheltering known criminals (aka Jesse when he fled from the battle field, and Ross when he deserted). "You're lucky a man of my stature puts up with you lot."

Rowena Yue Noel Pyralis- ship's interpreter and ambassador, wanted for "indescent behavior". Speaks fluetly in twenty-eight different dialects. "There is noting indecent in knowing one's assets."

Other Characters:
Pamela Ross: Captain Ross's wife.

Peter Nyx- one of three musicians picked up as passengers on the Circe.

Charlie Ezekiel Boone- one of three musicians picked up as passengers on the Circe.

Kendra Arian- one of three musicians picked up as passengers on the Circe.

Alina (Ali) Phillips- Jesse's sweetheart.

Pace- the Circe's main funder, he arranges all their flights and jobs.
